fantastic! just the app I was hoping would come along. being able to launch finder through a short-cut alone makes this app a winner! (only wish multiple finder windows could be launched). essential! :)

Small bug

Shortcut Cmd+` (Finder) can be deleted, but restoring on every reboot. Very annoying bug. Please fix.

This app is simple but does a great job. No other fancy stuff, supa! Auto mode is quite powerful, the manual mode is even better! A must have if you have to switch between apps like chrome/safari/intellij/sublime/outlook/lync etc frequently.

I use this for work on a 34 inch monitor with all my apps tiled on the desktop. I programmed many of the F keys to bring different apps into focus. Really cuts down on the need to grab the mouse. I set it up in a few minutes without issue.

Easy and unintrusive

Love being able to rearrange apps in the dock to change their shortcuts, and not having to interact with preferences all the time--it just works.

I had a keyboard with its own preference pane that allowed me to run an application with some of its special keys. I was using that feature to switch between headphones and speakers. Said keyboard broke so I was looking for a way to do the same without it. Snap cant run the applescript app that was switching the output, so its COMPLETELY USELESS! My search goes on.

Nice little app that does one thing well: launch apps with a shortcut key. Upgraded my rating to 5 stars (from 4) because version 1.2 now lets me assign a shortcut key to "Dockables" apps, so I can hit a key to lock the display. (E.g. when walking away from my computer at work.)

Its helpful for those who use or open lots of application at once otherwise for those who are in the editing field who have to manage between windows of different programs. I personally like it because I prefer using shortcuts rather than dragging my mouse around. The only thing I dont like about this app is that it doesnt open at login or launch when clicking/ checking the box in the preferences tab. Hopefully this will be fixed in a new update. (what basically happens is I click on it then when restarting the computer when the program should be open prior is not and the box reverts back to being unchecked.)

Good, but...

I wish I could hide the menu bar icon.

so many of the so called "launchers" out there are just different versions of spotlight: you have to type something into the bar (as with spotlight) to get to what you want. this actually lets you assign any shorcut of your choosing to open up the certain application immediately from the keyboard. ive got like itunes on ^+command+i and safarai on ^+command+s to keep it easy. itll open up the program freshly if its not yet running or simply take you to it if its already running. so awesome recommended

I dont have a multitouch trackpad, so launching Mission Control and Launchpad was a pain to do. This app made them available with just a simple keyboard shortcut! Thank you!!!

Loved it on Snow Leopard

It doesnt work for me on Lion - wont open anything.

When I switched from Windows several years ago the only thing I missed was easy creation of shortcuts. Now I can do the same on Mac, thanks to SNAP! It works great on Mountain Lion. Loads at start. Custom shorcuts as well as dock shortcuts work as described. Love it, thank you! Several sudjestions (dont know if its possible to impliment though): 1) Would be nice to open several windows with just one shortcut. Example, I usually open following aps on start - Safari, Firefox, Mail, Notes, Skype… wonder it its possible to create just one shortcut so all asigned windows open at once. 2) Not sure if its system limitation or not, but Finder is always number 1 in dock, however, pressing Command + 1 opens app that folows Finder in dock, in my case Finder - 1, Safari -2, Mail - 3, etc. Presing Command + 1 opend Safari, not Finder.

This tool is awesome! For a person like me who likes keeping their fingers on the keyboard, this app is perfect. Highly recommended for those who want to quickly switch between dock apps!

Snappy! It works like a charm, I love how you have both automatic and manual modes - automatic is for all dock apps, and manual is for any app you want to have a shortcut - but my only suggestion is to have the option to remove the bezel that appears every time you open an app with snap. Its not that bad, but it slows down the transition between apps. I know some people like it, but at least the option to remove it would be nice.

Cool

The icon like, sparkles. Siiiiick.

This application works as described and is very quick. I love the ability to make your own shortcuts! Like other new users though It would be intreguing to actually see some legitimate finger snapping in the app considering the application name and icon.

READ the Discription!

I also thought if you actually snapped your fingers, the app launches. But this app works fine.
